We as human beings have developed a concept of GOD which we have accepted as a highest and final entity. This concept of God is a part of my belief system. It is to say that my family members – primarily my Father and Mother believed so and it was transferred or implanted in me when I was very young. Those days I did not have enough mental capability to question or raise inquiries. This God I have accepted through belief and faith without questioning its basic structure, composition etc. It is a highly magnified belief or a concept accepted by me. It has been attributed highest ever characteristics which a Man can comprehend. I have accepted God in me through a process of indoctrination. During this process of developing the belief in god I was continuously bombarded with the magnimity of God without being given much objective evidence. In this process three things were therefore involved. Firstly an external source existed who forcefully created belief in me, secondly, God was assigned a magnificent status and thirdly acceptance by me of this magnificent status of god without much resistance or inquiry. It is through this process that God occupies the highest position or place in the minds of the believers. It is straight through this belief system and process. Once it occupies such a place in belief system, nothing can occupy a place near to it in the minds of believers for years to come. God thus occupies the highest position in a mind. The most sacred, the most holy.
Initially, the messiah or a messenger too attempts to place God straight into the minds of followers through make-belief without any questioning from followers. This they do through a process of imparting religious beliefs at very early stages of life so that God occupies the highest place in minds of followers before reason can grow. They never help the followers to accept god through process of reasoning. Because they know that a ‘Realized’ God is quite different from an ‘Implanted’ God. Once implanted at an early age becomes difficult to be replaced later. The messengers and messiahs of God, who are the middleman of divinity, actually want to implant God in minds of followers the way they think God as because in the ruse of God it is actually their own divinity that they want to establish so that they can remain alive for ever through the memories of their followers for centuries to come. No one dares to place things near to God which is held so pure even though in one’s mind only because god is held in the highest esteem in one’s mind.
If we look, we will find that in reality a person or a thing reaches and occupies the highest place or position only when it has struggled hard, crossed various barriers, stages and tests but God was made to occupy the highest position straightaway without crossing various stages and tests. How could this happen? It is so because even in belief system there is an hierarchy and at the top can only be the highest belief, the purest one.
There is a fundamental difference in reaching God through belief or through realization. The present concept of God is through a borrowed belief and not through self-realization even though it may be true. The catch here is that God is to be discovered. It is to be realized. When I believe straightaway in God without going through the process of realization then I have actually accepted God without realizing him. Consequently I have accepted God through a firm belief and predetermined attributes. At far end I can call such a belief as blind belief. This belief is the same as has been given by my parents. Thus the true God still remains eluded from me. The pathway to God is through process of realization. Realization process is a journey. Urge to know is the fountainhead of realization. This urge to know is a derivative of Man’s reasoning capacity. So to start journey towards God first make space in mind. A mind stuffed with belief is an impediment to reasoning to evolve or grow. Empty your mind with firm beliefs so that reason within you gets a chance to work. A belief which is fundamental in nature is always in opposition to reason. Thus a straight belief in God is essentially fundamental in nature. A fundamental belief generates fear, uncertainty and above all has tendency to raise question within oneself What if I fail in my belief? What if I believe less than expected for getting salvation? What if I don’t follow the laid rituals? These are the expected outcomes. A realized God is an outcome of the human endeavor. It is reasonable, logical and universal in character too as it is within reach of every one and every one can realize it and is not a property of few. It’s for every one and every one is for him. Its understanding and realization is not in the hands of few. It reaches out equally for every one who understands him. This makes it universal in character. It is the true God. It has been reached and realized through human endeavor, knowledge, learning and reasoning. Who ever follow this path can reach him equally with the same intensity.
Once reached creates confidence, opens door of universal acceptance. It helps in not doing away with uncertainties but accepting them as a normal part of life. And above all unites us with our surroundings, environment, and cosmos and with our origin too. During the process of realization, it helps the subject to discover its own relationship with that of the entire universe. A realized God is close to Man because process of realization involves urge to know which the true and basic characteristic of Man. It is an outcome of Man’s nature of knowing. It is an end-product or final product of Man’s nature to know. Thus realized God is close to Man. A realized God is an outcome of individual’s effort and not simply a hearsay or make-belief God. A realized God is a matter of immense satisfaction. Realization is an internal phenomenon. It’s of the Man, by the Man and for the Man. Its outcome is eternal pleasure and realization of eternal reality. It’s linking oneself with the entire universe. This realization is therefore a grandiose realization.
Realization calls for invoking of journey from within and make-belief is an end of potential journey before it can actually begin because beliefs are deeply grounded systems which are forcibly grouted under pressure, fear and compulsion. They have been implanted by taking advantage of the ignorance of an individual before he can take up the journey of reasoning and are adopted as correct without inquiry. Belief can only be grouted it does not undergo any testing. It’s like a nail being hammered. Hence question arises whether to reach God through Faith or Reason? Those who reach God through belief often argue that we do not see air or atom yet they exist similarly we do not see God yet it exists, fine argument. But the existence of an atom or air has been established through scientific query and research. Through these processes we can prove their existence, composition, shape etc. These are nothing but the human virtues that are present in all of us. I as an ordinary man can believe in their existence based on hearsay but if I also conduct a scientific inquiry or gather evidences, I can truly establish their existence even though I cannot see them with my own eyes. After proving it’s existence I do not develop faith in atom I am only convinced of its existence. I may or may not revere an atom. It’s totally upto me to decide. But this decision cannot deny the existence of an atom. Similarly understanding God is a process and reaching it is the ultimate. In the process of understanding God through realization my entire focus is inward and relationally outward. In the process of understanding God through realization, I start my journey through connecting myself with the ground realities and asking question Who am I? Why am I? Where am I to Go? What’s my purpose? etc. In this process I start understanding higher and broader realities as well. I start getting a true picture of myself and clarity of the purpose. It start establishing connection with higher realities behind me and universal phenomenon which ordinarily I do not do. I try to connect myself to and understand my origin, my surroundings, my universe. I try to establish and understand true purpose of myself, life, and the ultimate. Godhead is an eternal state of existence that every Man should toil to attain through the process of realization. Realization when had in full does not leave any doubts in mind. It’s complete and final, it’s the final purpose. Since realization is an internal process peculiar to Man only, every Man therefore has seeds of Divinity within. He, therefore, in himself possesses Divine Potential. The ultimate to be realized is within. A seed of Mango when grown to tree will realize mangoes for me and not oranges because it has been built for mangoes and not oranges. If God is to be realized through process of realization than some entity should posses the power and potential to realize as well as the one to be realized from within just like a mango seed having potential to realize its own potential. If I have to realize God than the seeds of same should be within me. The search for God starts inwardly. Thus reaching God through realization is actually realizing the complete and final potential of Self. I am therefore a true embodiment of GOD as the Source (Seeds), Potential (Power to realize) and the Purpose (Reaching God) are within me. I only have to decide to undertake the journey of realization.

A realised God is within reach of every one based on self search and not accepted on imposed ethos. A God realised within is therefore a source of immense love, compassion, kindness, flexibility, acceptance, persevernce, broad outlook, sense of justice, conscience. He posseses immense love for all for entire humanity and extends his love for every living being and creature without discrimination for self and for others inspite of any differences. He admires and appreciates the entire creation, universe and cosmos and knows his status. Its a philosophy in its own. It is not a dogma. Since the search starts indivuidaullay and not thro a collective following, it therefore starts within and ends within. Every human, therefore. is divine in himself. If at all these characterstics realise God then where do these characterstics reside - they are all possible in a Man and reside in Man so essentially Man is God and God is Man. Realising these characterstics and practicing them in conduct open the doorway to God within. Though Man has potential of spirituality, however, to choose to become spiritual is his own choice. This freedom is there in Man. But the other side of coin is that there are the fundamental philosophies who make-believe people in God through bribe, fear, favour which are highly injurious for the spiritual potential of Man for which he is born. he dies before he can actually self realize believing the imposed ethos as true. These ethos and dogmas talk of dying (great after life) when he is required to live and for which no proof exists.
